Our Hardware

DiamondPFC uses some of the most powerful server hardware available today. Each of our eight servers is a 3.6 GHz dual-processor Xeon machine, with 2GB of RAM, and a massive 360GB RAID ADG (Advanced Data Guard which is a RAID 5 extension that increases the fault tolerance of a storage array by creating a completely independent parity scheme) disk array with hot-swappable SCSI drives. Four out of these eight servers are hot spares with the same configuration as the Live servers. All servers sit behind an Intruder Prevention Sensor specifically tuned to detect and prevent Denial of Service (DoS) and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks; effectively mitigate against worm and virus attack through inline intrusion prevention capabilities. This is apart from other data protection and security systems we have provided to provide stateful fail over services.

Our hardware consists of the highest quality components from top manufacturers: HP, Intel and Cisco. They are industry standard bearers and we’re pleased to use them.
