Mr. Akinyemi first joined Diamond Bank Plc from former Lead Merchant Bank in 1991 as Head of Systems Unit. He later headed the Commercial & Consumer Banking and the Retail Banking Units of the bank before leaving for UBA in 1997.

He left UBA after a stint as Head of Retail Banking, Consumer Banking Division for One-to-One Nigeria Limited as an Executive Director and whilst he was there, built the first Database Marketing Service Company in Nigeria as well as pioneered List Rental Business in Nigeria.

He then joined Citibank Nigeria in 1999 as Head of Cards, Cash Management and e-Solutions Group.

He again joined Diamond Bank Plc in 2002 as Head of the Information Technology Group. A holder of the University of Lagos B.Sc. in Computer Science, Dele also holds an MBA obtained from International Graduate School of Management, IESE University of Navarra, Madrid, Spain. He has attended various Leadership and IT courses in Ireland, UK, India and South Africa and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

Emeka holds a BSc in Economics and an MSc degree in Monetary Economics from the University of Lagos. He began his banking career at FCMB where he became Head of Research and Strategy before joining IMB International Bank, rising to Head the Middle Market Group of its Corporate Finance Division.

On secondment to the Presidency, he became Special Assistant to the Minister of Finance, later Budget & Planning and Cabinet Affairs. He later joined Diamond Bank Plc and headed several divisions of the bank including Commercial Banking South, East and North.

Emeka was pioneer Head of the Specialized Industries Division in Corporate Banking overseeing Power, Telecoms and ICT business as well as Public Sector South, East and Lagos Divisions.
He is also a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and an alumnus of both the Lagos Business School and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He attended the Banking school of Citibank in New York and the Special Clearing, Settlement and Global Custody programme of the International Faculty of Finance in London.

He was appointed MD/CEO of Diamond Pension Fund Custodian Limited in 2006.

Dr. Salami is a seasoned economist, Senior Lecturer and full time member of the faculty at the Lagos Business School. He holds BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Economics from the Queen Mary College of the University of London.

Dr Salami is also an alumnus of both the Lagos and Harvard Business Schools. He is a director of African Business Research Limited, UK, First World Communities Limited, Investment Securities Limited and also a Managing Partner of Edward Kingston Associates (a firm of economic consultants).

Mr. Gadzama holds a law degree from the University of Maiduguri and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1984. He is the founding and principal partner of JK Gadzama and Partners. He is amongst others a legal consultant and adviser to the Bureau of Public Enterprise (BPE), the secretariat of the National Council on Privatization (NCP), several banks and multinational corporations.

He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Council of Legal Education in Nigeria, West African Bar Association, English Bar and the International Bar Association.

He worked in several positions in Diamond Bank Plc such as: Branch Head of Credit, Group Head Retail Banking, Group Head Commercial Banking, Divisional Head Commercial Banking.

Mr. Uruakpa’s experience in banking spans over 23 years of active involvement in core Commercial Banking. He joined Diamond Bank Plc in 1997 as an Assistant Manager.

Till date he remains the Regional Manager South-South. His qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Management from the University of Nigeria and an MBA from the University of Science and Technology Port Harcourt Rivers State.

He has attended several local and offshore trainings including a Senior Management Programme at Lagos Business School and Leadership Training at IESE Business School of University of Navarra Spain.
